For nearly fifty years and across three generations, the Powers family has provided the highest quality hand cut meat and old-world butchery to New Jersey’s finest chefs and restaurateurs. Now, we invite you to purchase our restaurant-quality meat products in a convenient retail setting, allowing you to serve and enjoy at home outstanding USDA Choice and Prime meats, as well as Grade A poultry.
Wayne Meat founder, Ralph Powers, built his reputation and business on the firm belief that “No one regrets buying quality.” Since our inception in 1972, his philosophy has guided the next two generations of Powers in the family tradition of taking immense pride in the quality of our meat and customer service. We steadfastly continue to focus on the core values that have been at the heart of our family and business since the beginning: Quality, Consistency, Value and Service.
Our facility is a federally inspected meat processing plant (U.S.D.A. 5929). An inspector from the U.S.D.A visits our plant daily ensuring our customers wholesome products under the most sanitary and stringent of conditions. We carry a full line of products including beef, veal, lamb, pork and poultry and specialty items. We grind our own meats and offer convenient portion controlled cryovaced cuts. Custom cuts are available upon request, holiday orders welcome and if you don’t see what you need, please ask!
